Senator Watson Discusses Infrastructure, Healthcare and Education on Yaffee Live
As early voting goes underway in Tennessee, Senator Bo Watson joined Yaffee Live to discuss his reelection and the issues he believes are important to the state’s future.
During the interview, Senator Watson discussed Tennessee’s growing infrastructure needs, healthcare, education and economic development. He also highlighted the importance of school choice and providing families with educational options that best meet their needs, including magnet schools, dual enrollment, homeschooling and virtual schooling.
Speaking about competition in education, Senator Watson stated:
“So, we believe that creating this kind of competition has made everybody better. And if all the academic systems are better, then the beneficiaries of that are the families and the students that are using that.”
As early voting continued across Tennessee, Senator Watson emphasized the importance of addressing the state’s infrastructure, healthcare and education needs while working to ensure Tennessee remains a strong place for families, businesses and future generations.
