Bo Watson’s 2026 All-American Bash

This past Sunday in Collegedale, Senator Bo Watson hosted his 2026 All-American Bash, joined by Republican leaders from the local, state, and national levels. It was a great day of fellowship and community as attendees came together to celebrate and highlight the importance of early voting ahead of Election Day.

“What we want them to do is to know that it is important to get those votes in early and right here in the middle of early voting. Bo has done this event that reminds people now is the time. They can go Monday, they can go until the 29th, but they need to get that vote in because stuff happens on election day sometimes.” says Marsha Blackburn, the Republican Nominee for Governor.

As we near election day, the race between Democrats and Republicans is a bit tighter than the Republicans would like.

“Republicans have been so dominant there is a tendency to relax and get complacent and just assume that because we’ve been so dominant we’re gonna continue that. And I think every candidate here from the mayor and his race back in August to all of those that are up now in November are recognizing that people need to be encouraged and need to be reminded that you’re always just one election away. We have a really strong Republican base here in Hamilton County, sometimes we just need to remind them that it’s really important that they vote.” says Senator Bo Watson.

Hamilton County’s Mayor, Weston Wamp expressed how important these midterms elections are for people especially at the local level.

“What happens in Washington gets a lot of the attention, what happens in local government and state government affects your life directly. A lot of times what happens in the local state government might affect your life the next day. Senator Blackburn got a couple opponents who all of a sudden showed up on the scene and they wanna talk about how bad things are. They talk about people who’ve been in office and nitpick that issue as if they know better. We need so badly in our state for leaders like Senator Blackburn to step forward and continue this legacy of stewardship.” says Hamilton County Mayor, Weston Wamp.

Early voting is still going on until October 29th. And election day for the midterms is on November 3rd.
